Next Meeting
The next meeting of the Region II chapter of the IMA (Region II includes the counties of Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis, and Nez Perce) will be on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 6:30 PM at the Jack in the Box restaurant meeting room at 710 West Pullman Road in Moscow. A short business meeting will start at 6:30, with program and guest speaker following at 7:00 PM. Monthly meetings are usually on the third Tuesday of the month. The program meetings are free and open to the public.

Tue, March 23, 2010: "Beginner's Guide to Workplace Conflict" -- This video produced by the Dispute Resolution Center of Snohomish and Island Counties in Washington State will be shown, it's an example of a mediation of workplace conflict in a community college. Kay Keskinen, CPM, will present the video and lead a discussion of the mediation example.

Tue, April 20, 2010: "Mediation Roundtable" Discussion of mediation and its benefits, led by Dr. Deborah Norum, Certified Professional Mediator.

The chapter does not meet during the summer months of May, June, July, and August.

Formation of a Community Mediation Center (DRC)
Several area mediators have formed a not-for-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) community mediation center (a dispute resolution center) called the Palouse Center for Conflict Management, Inc.
