 CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Sunday School: 

K - 12: Sunday mornings from 8:45 to 10 at the Catholic Center

Adult: Sunday mornings from 9 to 9:45 in the Genesee Valley Fellowship Hall

 

Sunday School is in session from the 3rd Sunday In September through the end of April

Confirmation 7th grade and up.  Meets alternating Sundays after Fellowship.  1st- and 2nd-year Confirmation groups.

 

New Members Training: Anyone interested in learning more about the Lutheran faith and who is considering joining the church.

Women's Bible Study Every Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Church from September through May.

Evening Bible Study:   7 p.m. every Thursday of the month at St. John's Church.

Vacation Bible School: June  2011

Choir and Musical Groups

Those who like singing or playing instruments solo or in groups for services or other events, please contact Pastor Dave.

High School Youth Group: 

If you are interested please contact Pastor Dave. 

"Uffda" (between 20 and 40 or so)

Come have fun and meet new people! This group meets twice a month on Saturdays. It will be an opportunity to have fun, meet new people, and also discuss faith and life. Come and bring a spouse and/or friend!

"Tweeners" (about 40 - 60 years)

TBA.

"Good Marbles Gang" (about 60 + years)

Meets for lunch at restaurants in area, 11:30 a.m., once a month.

Journey to Health (JTH)

Meets at 5 p.m. Monday evenings at St. John's.  Discussion about nutrition and healthy living.

 

Marriage Care Group

The first Marriage Care group met during the month of January 2007 so that participants could celebrate being married.  The next group meeting is to be announced.  If you have questions and/or interest, please contact Pastor  Dave.
