The International Folk Dancers of the Palouse meet each Friday night in the basement of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse (UUCP), 420 E. Second in Moscow, ID In case of use conflicts we will meet in "The Attic", 314 E. Second St., Moscow, ID (Up the stairs in the rear) We set up at 7:00 p.m. Dancing starts at 7:30 PM and usually continues until 10:00 PM. See also "coming events", particularly for summer hours and meeting places.

We are a group of people that meet together to dance for fun. We have a large selection of recorded music from various countries around the world.

Typical

On a typical Friday night we will have a mixture of line dances, circle dances, and couple dances. Dance partners are welcome, but not necessary. A few dances are usually taught at the beginning of the evening. Both the instruction and the dancing are free. (See also coming events.) We do have an optional membership with dues. Money collected helps with the purchase of music and equipment.

Occasionally, a voluntary subset of our group will agree to give a performance.

We are something of a social group and some of us take part in special folk dance events and other activities.
