Typical Friday night

The WSU Pullman International Folk Dancers meet each Friday night in room 201 of The Gladish Community Center, 115 NW State St. in Pullman, WA. Dancing starts at 7:30 PM and usually continues until 10:00 PM. We're usually open at 7:00 p.m. See also "coming events" for our summer schedule.

We are a group of people that meet together to dance for fun. We have a large selection of recorded music from various countries around the world, and teach dances: line, set, circle and couple dances

Typical

On a typical Friday night we will have a mixture of line dances, circle dances, and couple dances. Dance partners are welcome, but not necessary. A few dances are usually taught at the beginning of the evening. Both the instruction and the dancing are free. (See also coming events.) We do have an optional membership with dues. Also, donations collected at each dance help with the purchase of music, rent and equipment.

Occasionally, a voluntary subset of our group will agree to give a performance.

We are something of a social group and some of us take part in special folk dance events and other activities.
