Camp Lutherhaven

Inland Northwest Lutheran Outdoor Ministries (INLOM) operates two camp facilities: Camp Lutherhaven, which runs on a year-round basis, and Shoshone Base Camp, which is in operation nine months out of the year. Camp Lutherhaven sits on scenic Coeur d'Alene Lake, nestled in Mica Bay, eight miles south of the city of Coeur d'Alene. A large percentage of Concordia's youth attend Lutherhaven each summer. Camp scholarships are available. The camp also hosts family reunions, retreats, assemblies and other gatherings wishing to take advantage of a welcoming, comfortable lakeside facility within easy reach of town. Lake canoeing, waterfront "blobbing", a challenge/ropes course, along with all the traditional camp experiences (and more!) are just a few of the Lutherhaven specialties.
Chapel Guild Chapel Guild is associated with Lutheran Women's Missionary League. The meeting times are usually the second or third Thursday of the month. The group organizes many missions projects, and the monthly meetings always have a pertinent devotional time or fun activity. Proceeds from projects are divided among Lutheran World Relief, several other mission projects (at the discretion of the group), and church needs.
Choir (adult) Join us on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:00 p.m. (unless indicated otherwise on the calendar).
Confirmation class (adult) Join us on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. (unless indicated otherwise on the calendar). If you desire to know more about the Scriptures, the Lutheran faith, and the confessions of the Church, please let Pastor Nolting know if you are interested in joining. You are welcome to take the class as a refresher course, or if you want it to lead to adult confirmation and membership into this congregation.
Confirmation class (youth) Youth confirmation classes are held on one Saturday a month during the academic year from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a class activity afterwards (such as bowling, ice skating, rock climbing, rollerskating, etc.). Each class meets over a period of two years. If interested, please contact Pastor Nolting.
Dinners for Eight Dinners for Eight provides an opportunity for participants to dine with a variety of others from Concordia on a four-month rotation. Once each month, participants (either couples or a pair of singles) will do the following: 1) host (set the date, time and place, and provide the main dish and beverage), 2) bring a vegetable, 3) a salad, or 4) a dessert. It is a wonderful way to meet those with whom we worship, and share a delicious meal in the process!
Directory If you would like to be included in the church directory published annually, please contact the church office for an information sheet to fill out.
