Hours of Operation:
The Adventure Club after-school program is usually open Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Full days during the school year operate from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The summer program usually operates from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Mondays through Fridays. Closures will be posted at least one week in advance. Emergency situations or weather conditions can result in immediate closure. If the schools are closed due to such a situation, Adventure Club will also be closed. We plan to be open during many teacher workdays and vacation days, as long as we have sufficient enrollment and staffing on those days. We will close for the two days following the last day of school and the two days before the first day of school in order to set up our programs and provide staff training. We will also be closed on legal holidays.

After School Schedules & Activities

    Typical After School Daily Schedule:
  • 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. Arrival/Free Play/Snack
  • 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. Homework/Reading/Quiet Activities
  • 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. Daily Activity Choices/Outside Play
  • 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. Free Play till departure

All children must be picked up by 6:00 p.m.

    Typical Summer Daily Schedule:
  • 7am - 8:30 a.m. Arrival/Supervised Free Choice Time
  • 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Snack and Snack Clean-up
  • 9:30 - 12:00 p.m. Activity Rotation (Field Trips, Music, Drama, Recreation, Mini-Society, Discovery Time, Arts/Crafts, Quiet Time, etc.)
  • 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. Lunch and Lunch Clean-up
  • 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. Swimming and Recreation Time
  • 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. Snack and Snack Clean-up
  • 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Supervised Free Choice Time
  • All children must be picked up by 6:00 p.m.

My Kids In the WoodsCheck out the 2008 MY WOODS field trips sponsored by the US Forest Service More Kids in the Woods program, and heavily supported through manpower and creative ideas by the US Fish & Wildlife Service and Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute.

Program Fees and Payment Information for 2007-2008

    Fee Schedule:
  • After School (3:00 – 6:00 p.m.)..................................$ 7.75/day
  • Full Day (7:00 a.m. or 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)................$22.40/day
  • Half Day (up to 5 hours)............................................$10.95/day
