Calendars & Events:
The Adventure Club Monthly Calendar and the Adventure Club Weekly Calendar are continually being updated with after school and summer activities and events.  A new and exciting offering this summer will be Camp Invention
®, which will most likely occur from August 4 to August 15, 2008 from 9am to 12pm.  Enrollment will be limited to 60 children entering the first through seventh grades in fall 2008.  Priority will be given to children enrolled for at least 24 Full Days (more than 5 hours/day).  Camp Invention® 2008 will be fully funded by Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories.

Who We Are:

The Adventure Club is a self-supporting, non-profit, after-school and summer program for elementary school age children and is a service of the Moscow School District. We are committed to providing a safe, affordable and enriching environment for children in our care. After school attendance is open, as space is available, to all children in the kindergarten through sixth grades. Summer enrollment is open to children about to enter the kindergarten through sixth grades. The Adventure Club was formed at the request of the community to help parents, who work beyond school hours, provide a positive alternative to being home alone.

Philosophy:
The Adventure Club staff plan activities that are inquiry-based and interesting to its participants. Adventure Club activities are stimulating and provide for social and academic development. Daily schedules are flexible in order to offer children a chance to experience various activities. The staff members strive to be good role models for children. The program is part of the Moscow School District's commitment to children's safety, intellectual development, and physical development.
