CAMPING

[Revised November 3, 2003]

CAMP COWLES
Located on Diamond Lake, Washington about 50 miles NE of Spokane.  This is the council's largest camp, and is heavily used by units in the northern half of the council.

CAMP EASTON
Located on the east side of Lake Coeur d'Alene on Idaho State Route 97.  This is a good summer camp, and a great place for teaching sailing and motor boating skills.

CAMP GRIZZLY
Located next to Laird Park, (near Harvard, Idaho) just off of State Route 6.  This camp is in our district boundary and is used by many local Scout units for tent camping during the fall, winter, and spring of the year.  It is a wonderful place to take younger Scouts to summer camp.
Go to the Camp Grizzly Page to see pictures and view the history of the camp.  This material was gathered and prepared for the web site by Charles Gaskins.
